Have Courage, Dear Heart.

This blog is for the girl who was left behind.

The girl whose dreams were shattered.

The girl who never thought it could happen to her.

The girl who was most likely to succeed.

This blog is for me, but maybe it will help you, too.

We all have chapters in our lives, that we would rather keep unpublished. But then again, who would we be without them. Yes, sometimes they are traumatic. They aren’t what we want, but that doesn’t make them any less apart of us.

The real things haven’t changed.

It is still best to be honest and truthful;

to make the most of what we have;

to be happy with simple pleasures;

and have courage when things go wrong.

Laura Ingalls Wilder

After the the natural emotions of crying, feeling angry, helpless, betrayed, hurt, simply: Have courage and be kind. The less you focus on yourself is when your healing will begin. Time does heal all wounds.
